Weather in Breckenridge

A Four Season Colorado Destination

2011-12 Ski Season is November 11 - April 15, 2012

Breckenridge Weather Throughout the Year

Valdoro Breckenridge Winter GetawayWinter Months:
Due to its high-elevation location in the Rocky Mountains, Breckenridge experiences very cold winters with heavy snowfall that often starts early in the season. Temperatures consistently hover in the mid 20s to high 30s.

Valdoro Breckenridge Outdoor Bike RidingSpring Months:
Spring is definitely our snowiest season. March and April are exceptionally wet, which is why we have some of the best spring skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Average daytime temperatures are in the upper 30s to low 50s and spring storms can bring several inches to several feet of snow.

Valdoro Breckenridge Golf GetawaySummer Months:
Summers are pleasant with warm, dry days and cool nights.  Afternoon temperatures remain agreeably in the low to mid 70s.  Hiking, mountain biking and golf are popular activities during the summer.  Breckenridge is just as breathtaking during the summer as it is in the winter!

Valdoro Breckenridge Fall VacationFall Months:
Summit County is magical in fall. The Aspen leaves turn golden, everything is bathed in soft Autumn light and temperatures stay in the high 40s to mid 60s. Don't be surprised if snow falls in late September or early October.
