When can I make a reservation?
Home Resort Reservations - 12 months from your check-out date
There are several things to keep in mind when making a Home Resort reservation:
- You must book a full week (seven consecutive nights) and check in on a Saturday
- You need to book the same type of property you own (as a two bedroom unit)
If you need a shorter stay or a different sized property than what you own, you may book your stay during the Club Reservation window, which begins 9 months from your check-out date. There is a three night minimum stay for all HGVC properties and a $49 reservation fee will apply.
Can I make a last-minute reservation?
You are welcome to book an Open Season reservation starting 30 days prior to your check-out date. There is a two night minimum stay, and you may use your ClubPoints or pay the Open Season rental rate, which is listed in the back of your member directory. One night stays are not permitted at Valdoro Mountain Lodge or any HGVC property. All Open Season reservations are based on availability and must be booked through the Hilton Grand Vacations Club.
How do I make a reservation with the Hilton Grand Vacation Club (HGVC)?
Please contact the Hilton Grand Vacations Club directly to book your stay at Valdoro Mountain Lodge:

Toll Free: 800.932.4482
Online: hgvclub.com
How can I use my ClubPoints?
ClubPoints are designed to give you the flexibility you want in your vacation. ClubPoints for the current year will expire on December 31st, and there are several options that you have in order to maximize them to suit your needs:
Depositing ClubPoints
From January 1st to December 31st, you may "rescue" all of this year's points into the following year's account. There will be a $69.00 fee to "rescue" your ClubPoints.
Borrowing ClubPoints
You may borrow next year's ClubPoints or previously deposited points to make reservations in the current year.
Converting ClubPoints
You may covert your points into Hilton HHonors points or the RCI Exchange Program through December 31st of the current year. Keep in mind that any unused ClubPoints will expire at the end of the current year and will not be available for use in succeeding years.
What if my plans change?
Owners have the flexibility to cancel or change their reservation up to 31 days prior to arrival without ClubPoint or financial penalties.
Explain the differences in the ownership options at Valdoro Mountain Lodge.
There are several different ownership options, including Fixed Weeks, Winter Floating Weeks, and Spring/Summer/Fall Floating Weeks. Fixed Week owners have a reservation automatically made for them during their set week each year. Winter Floating Week owners have the option to pick which week they would like to visit in the winter months,
and Spring/Summer/Fall Floating Week owners are able to choose a week to visit Breckenridge during those months.
Owners may also choose if they wish to travel each year or every other year. A limited amount of upgrades are also available by contacting our Sales Manager, Andy Austin, at 866.580.1100 or at Andy@valdoro.com.
I own a fixed ski week, and I need a different week. What do I do?
You can contact HGVC during the Club Reservation window (which is 9 months prior to your check-out date) to cancel your automatic fixed week reservation and book the week that works best for you. Reservations are based on availability and are not guaranteed outside of your fixed week.
Please be aware that the weeks are determined by the first Saturday of the year and can be found on the inside front cover of your member directory. It is important to confirm which week you will be staying at Valdoro Mountain Lodge, as the dates may not be the same year-to-year. The directory lists the Club weeks up to two years in advance.
What are the time periods for Spring/Summer/Fall Floating Week reservations?
The Spring/Summer/Fall Floating Weeks fall between weeks 16 and 46, or the end of April to just before Thanksgiving. This type of ownership does not allow for winter ski reservations at Valdoro Mountain Lodge.
I would like to sell my timeshare. Is there a company that can assist me?
Jovan Realty in Breckenridge can assist you in selling your timeshare. The company has worked with several of our owners and is very familiar with the Valdoro Mountain Lodge property. You can call Jovan Realty at 866-553-1102 or 970.453.1102, or you can visit their website at www.jovanrealty.com.
My address has changed. Who do I contact?
Please call Marie Albertson in our Owner Relations Department at 800.853.9020 or via email at MarieA@valdoro.com. She can make the needed changes in the database for Valdoro Mountain Lodge and pass the new information along to HGVC for you. Please keep in mind that you may also need to update your email address and telephone numbers.
What should I plan to bring?
The weather can often change quickly in the mountains, so it is best to dress in layers. Sunscreen is a must year-round! In the winter months, you will need a warm winter coat, long underwear, gloves, hats, sturdy shoes, and other protective outdoor wear. In the summer, be sure to bring a light sweater or parka, as the temperature can drop and become cool in the evening. You should also think about the activities you may be doing. For horseback riding, you will need to have a pair of long pants or jeans. If you'll be snowmobiling, you'll want to have sunglasses or goggles. Our on-site gift shop
does provide many of the little extras that you may have forgotten to pack.
How can I avoid high altitude sickness?
The best way to prepare to change altitudes is to plan to drink plenty of water before you leave and during your stay. Our gift shop does provide vitamin supplements that can assist with any nausea you may have, and our front desk can connect you with local pharmacies for small oxygen tanks, if you're feeling short of breath. It is best to avoid alcohol.
How do I get to Valdoro Mountain Lodge?
From Denver:
Take I-70 West to exit #203 (the Frisco exit). Proceed towards town after the round-a-bout and continue on Highway 9 North for 10 miles into Breckenridge. Make a right at Park Avenue and follow to Village Road. Turn right on Village Road and Valdoro Mountain Lodge will be the first property on your right.
For more details and information, please contact Marie Albertson, our Owner Relations Coordinator, at 800-853-9020 or the Front Desk at 800-436-6780. We look forward to serving you and seeing you in Breckenridge again soon! |
