(April 1 - end of ski season)
This multi-faceted, interactive event includes entertainment, family fun and competitions. Kicking off the festival on April Fool's Day includes live music, parade and crowning of the Town Fool on Main Street. Take a Bite Out of Breckenridge with special three-course dining menus at a variety of participating restaurants. Other events include live entertainment, Hockey Classic and the Imperial Challenge, which is a grueling three-stage race of biking, and hiking to the top of the Imperial Bowl, and skiing or riding to the finish.
Breckenridge Music Festival:
(June - August)
The Breckenridge Music Festival presents a range of experiences from classical symphonic and intimate chamber to jazz, blues and rock-n-roll. This annual festival brings the best in musical programs, both classical and modern, available anywhere in the country. This series runs all summer from mid June to the end of August. All concerts are held at the Riverwalk Center in the heart of Breckenridge.
Breckenridge Film Festival:

This annual tradition brings exceptional premiers, independent films, and a talent to town in a uniquely affordable and accessible venue. This four-day festival takes place during the days and evenings at various locations around Summit County.

Celebrate the weekend leading up to July 4th with explosive entertainment and family fun! The weekend includes an Art festival and a grand celebration at the Arts District of Breckenridge. Celebrate Independence Day with the The "Firecracker 50" bike race which starts the parade down Main Street followed by various activities and music throughout town. End the night with the Repertory Orchestra as they perform a free holiday concert at the Riverwalk Center.

This is a great weekend to experience Breckenridge. Great weather and fun events such as the Great Divide Arts and Crafts Festival fair, the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center Crest Mountain Marathon, Summit Foundation's Rubber Duck Race, and sidewalk sale days.

Grab your stein, throw in your lederhosen, and get ready for fun during Breckenridge's annual Oktoberfest celebration! The event returns to Main Street to commemorate a time-honored tradition of German heritage. This event has become a mainstay and features Oompah music, Bavarian foods, and kid's activities. This same weekend is the annual Ski Swap that features great deals on ski and winter gear at the Riverwalk Center.
Victorian Winter Wonderland:

Kick off the holiday season with the Victorian festival including mountain competitions, celebrations, craft workshops, shopping and more. Breckenridge celebrates it's annual Lighting of Breckenridge (December 4, 2010) which brings together guests and locals every year to rejoice in the true holiday spirit.
Winter Dew Tour:
(December 16-19, 2010)
The world's premier skiers and snowboarders compete in slope style and super pipe events. Other activities include concerts and events throughout town.
